Powder injection molding
is a revolution ofmanufacturing technology
of complex small-sized parts. The steps
involved in PIM technology are as follows:Mixing
the metal or ceramic powder with a suitable
binder at a temperature, which produce homogeneous
feedstock, then forming the part by injection
molding in a closed die, after that ,removing
the binder and densifying the compact by
high-temperature sintering. |
